Classic buses were back in service as route changes mean the end for a decades-old London bus route, reports Nick Larkin

After 65 years, London’s route 140 will no longer serve what is now Heathrow Airport from Friday 6 December. The service began operating daily to the then London Airport on 4 May 1955. Marking the change, London Bus Museum organised a free heritage bus service over the route, from Harrow Weald depot on Saturday 23 November.
