Operator draws the wrath of the traffic commissioner after failing to comply with undertakings from a previous public inquiry and making false statements to regulators

George Young’s Coaches Ltd has had its international O-licence revoked with effect from 0001hrs on 23 December 2019 by Nick Denton, Traffic Commissioner (TC) for the West Midlands. Directors Kevin Young and Gwendoline Young were disqualified for three years from holding or obtaining any type of O-licence in any traffic area and from being the directors of any company holding or obtaining such a licence. The disqualification period ends on 23 December 2022.

The good repute of Transport Managers Gwendoline Young and Edward Berry was lost and both were disqualified from acting as a transport manager under any O-licence for an indefinite period.
