John Pye Auctions has been instructed by the Administrators of King Long Europe UK Limited to look for buyers for the business.
King Long Europe UK supplies King Long coaches and buses, servicing and is the UK supplier of original King Long parts.
Details of the sale can be previewed on the John Pye Auctions website and include: plant and machinery, motor vehicles, stock at a cost of £140k, servicing and parts contracts and two King Long Coaches.
Turnover per unaudited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2018 was c.£1.3m, with the previous year being c.£1.7m.
King Long Europe UK introduced four new models to the UK market last year, these being the C9, C10, C12, and C13. In Q3 of 2019, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reported that King Long Europe UK sold four new vehicles in total.
