A London bus route was run by classic AEC RT buses on Christmas Day, courtesy of a heritage operator. Two vehicles ran on the Roehampton to Putney section of the 430 route and there were also morning journeys to South Kensington. Organising the event, during which no fares were charged, was Richard Shirley, who spent 16 years working for TfL on stakeholder engagement and now runs Surrey-based Vintage Bus Hire.
