As reported in International News this week, MAN handed over the first two Lion’s City E buses for trials in Hamburg. This dramatic image shows the two vehicles after the handover ceremony, which took place in the city’s historic Speicherstadt, or ‘warehouse city’ district. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the former industrial area, with its neo-gothic brick buildings, was built between 1883 and the 1920s, and has found a new life as a leisure destination, being home to attractions such as Miniatur Wunderland and the Maritime Museum.
