An operator who admits he ‘got carried away’ collecting classic vehicles has decided to sell some of them.
Terry Barker of Barker’s Motors, based at Llan-Y-Pwll, near Wrexham, Clwyd explained: “We are running three vehicles on contract work and use two Leyland Olympians on our campsite. That means six vehicles but in all I have 15, the rest being old ones I acquired over the years because I liked them or wanted to save them. This is madness and some have to go. I just got carried away, and there are too many projects,” Terry admits. “I really want them to go to good homes with heritage operators.”
