Every year, hundreds of coach tours visit Blackpool, for staples such as the illuminations and of course the promenade tramway. Now, Blackpool’s heritage tram operation is expanding – including the opportunity to drive one.
Classic buses are being used on free connecting services, and the 135th year of tramway operation is being celebrated with an open day on 30 August and an Anniversary Weekend on 26/27 September, along with a model tram show in June.
