Andy Izatt provides a brief overview of the Nottingham City Transport fleet
While the Nottingham City Transport (NCT) fleet is highly standardised, it’s also a unique reflection of the city it serves, reflecting a long and proud municipal tradition. A once significant fleet of full-size single-decks has now gone and this is now a double-deck and midi-bus operation only, with the former allocated to Lower Parliament Street garage and the latter to Trent Bridge where there’s also a small works. A small number of double and single-decks remain based at the former South Notts depot at Gotham although all its engineering functions are now carried out at Trent Bridge.
