Snap will be working in partnership with Binswood Media to provide free coach travel from key locations to and from the Innovation & Technology in Transport Hub (ITT Hub) 2020 event in May.

Visitors to the ITT Hub 2020 will also be able to use Snap’s new online events product to book free return transfers from selected locations on the opening day of the two-day trade event, which takes place on 13-14 May. The aggregation service will facilitate pick-ups from Bristol, Oxford, Milton Keynes, St Albans and Maidenhead to bring visitors into the event at Farnborough.

The service provided in conjunction with Snap is completely free for event delegates, and coach journeys will be scheduled to arrive at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre at 0900hrs on Wednesday 13 May.

The return journeys will depart at 1730hrs, allowing a full day to explore the exhibition, experience the demonstration drive programme and take part in the FTA Future Logistics Conference.

Visitors who wish to use the service can access Snap’s booking system via the ITT Hub website.

Mark Griffin, CEO of ITT Hub organisers Binswood Media, said: “We are delighted to have partnered up with Snap for this exciting initiative. ITT Hub is all about the technology and innovation that will drive ever more efficient and environmentally friendly transport – the aggregation service developed by Snap means that free travel by coach to the event from key points becomes an additional option, for those who may wish not to arrive by bus, rail or car.

“Travel costs can be a factor for visitors attending any exhibition and this initiative simply removes this element for them. It also enables those travelling by this mode to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride, which will bring them directly into the venue, ready to experience and enjoy all that the event has to offer. Importantly, it will be taking cars off the road too and promotes the benefits of coach travel.”

Thomas Ableman, Founder and CEO at Snap, added: “As part of our continuing work to deliver greener, demand responsive and more affordable coach travel, we have developed a new events product using our aggregation technology to cater for a wide range of events, from music festivals to trade shows. This is a great opportunity for us to launch this service at ITT Hub 2020, providing a free transport option for those attending.”
