Lorna Murphy, Operations Director at Abellio London Bus told CBW:

“The route started on Saturday (2 May) on a 5 year contract and operates between Elephant & Castle and the Patmore Estate in Battersea.  It has a normal PVR of 9 single deck vehicles, although we are currently running slightly reduced services.  The route will very shortly launch with electric Caetano e.City Gold vehicles.

“The whole depot had real pride and excitement in launching the new route and it was great to see that excitement in what have otherwise been very difficult and trying times for everyone.”
