Around this time of year is usually when the UK Coach Awards starts accepting entries for 2021, however, given the uncertainty of this year it has taken the difficult decision to cancel the event in 2021. In a statement, a spokesperson for the UK Coach Awards said: “Back in April this year, we reluctantly took the decision to cancel the 2020 UK Coach Awards. Since then our businesses, colleagues, and friends have continued to face unprecedented challenges that have severely affected the industry. Unfortunately, as we head into the final quarter of 2020 the future is still uncertain, and we feel it would be unfitting and inappropriate to open nominations for the 2021 scheme.

“We have instead decided to review our normal processes and look at an alternative way to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions and actions that we are witnessing during these extremely difficult times.

“The industry’s passion, creativity, determination and resilience is still being demonstrated at every opportunity, and we want to make sure that the UK Coach Awards are able to help share and reward these amazing achievements.”
