A well-known name in the coaching world, Tony Johnson of Johnson Bros. Tours passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 20 October. Husband of Sheila and father to Antony, Lee, Coleen, Scott, and Grandad to 13 grandchildren, he was surrounded by his loving family. The Johnson family advise that the funeral service is to be held on Tuesday 10 November at 1300hrs at Babworth Crematorium, Retford, and is for immediate family only but well-wishers are welcome to stand on the roadside of Green Lane, Hodthorpe, maintaining social distancing. Parking will be available at Green Acres from 1015hrs, where the family have requested a display of vintage tractors, lorries and buses to celebrate Tony’s life and work, and from where the cortege will leave at 1100hrs. A collection box will be at Green Acres and also at the crematorium for donations in lieu of flowers to Ashgate Hospice.
