The South East Bus Festival is set to go ahead on 10 April, the organisers have confirmed.

Held annually at Kent Showground as part of Kent County Agricultural Society’s own Heritage Transport Show, the festival is one of the most popular bus events in the South East.

Co-organiser Richard Lewis said: “We were very disappointed to have had to cancel last year’s event, especially as it was to have been our tenth, and we know that many people look forward to joining us at the showground each year.”

He added: “We expect that some parts of the 2021 show may have to be run slightly differently to previously so that we can keep our visitors, volunteers and participants safe but we have contingency plans for each activity so that we can give as much enjoyment as we are able to within the guidelines.”
