Independent coach operators have seen school contracts as a key pillar of their portfolios for decades, but with the unfortunate arrival of a certain virus to Britain’s shores, these companies have had to rely increasingly on the school run as a primary source of income. Now we’re in our third national lockdown even this work has dried up but, when we do eventually emerge from the clutches of Covid, home to school transport contracts look set to become critical yet again with the leisure market still recovering.
