London crowned Europe’s most ‘pet-friendly’ public transport network

London has been named Europe’s most ‘pet-friendly’ city, thanks in part to its public transport network.

According to a study carried out by the mortgage experts at money.co.uk, the English capital has 164 dog-friendly parks, 240 pet grooming facilities, and 172 pet daycare options – in addition to an animal-approved transport network.

The Pet-Friendly Cities Report ranks 20 of Europe’s most densely-populated cities, scoring them on their individual pet-friendly credentials, such as travelling on public transport, pet-friendly rentals, and options for veterinary treatment within the city centre.
