9. Tain 1
When Highland acquired the depot at Tain, it was a basic structure and could accommodate double-deckers, but CAV 898 (D3) was the first allocated to operate local services. It was a utility Daimler CWA6 with a Duple body first licensed to Sutherland of Peterhead, which had platform doors fitted to all its double-deckers, although the door had been removed before Highland acquired it.
