A road run featuring classic coaches and buses that was organised because Covid-19 stopped other events taking place has proved so successful that it is happening again next year.

Fifteen vehicles, many owned by people from the coach and bus industry, took part in the Busman’s Holiday Road Run, which covered a route of around 50 miles through Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

Spokesman for organisers Eastern Bus Enthusiasts (EBE) Stephen Longmire said: “‘It was an amazing success. We had photographers everywhere and everyone said how much they enjoyed the event.”
