The sixth annual UK Bus Summit took place at the QEII centre in Westminster on Thursday, 6 February, with much of the discussion centring on congestion and the environmental agenda. James Day reports

The UK Bus Summit continues to attract a huge number of delegates, both from bus operators and various local and transport authorities.
It’s common for industry conferences to bring up the topic of congestion, but at this year’s summit, it was the key talking point in almost every presentation. The industry appeared to centre its focus on this key issue above all others, while the authorities seemed to show they were taking the issue much more seriously. What follows are some of the highlights from the event.
