Abellio London is set to invest in 10 new ADL Enviro200 short single-decker buses after securing a contract.

In recent TfL tender awards, Abellio won route 367 which will start in March 2016 and operate from Beddington depot using the new buses. The 367 route runs between West Croydon and Bromley.

Also in the tender awards, Abellio successfully retained route 484 for a further five year term. Again, the new contract will start in March 2016 and continue to operate from Walworth depot using existing vehicles.

Further investment in new buses will also be made following the retention of the TfL contract for route C10 for a fixed period of four years. For this contract, Abellio will be acquiring 21 new 10.8m ADL Enviro 200 buses.

Abellio Managing Director Tony Wilson said: “These awards build on previous successes and fully recognise the effort that has been put in by everyone to improve the business.”
