In our Operator Profile in issue 1413 we featured Acklams Coaches, and revealed that owner Paul Acklam had donated a surplus coach to local charity Jacob’s Well Appeal, for use in Burkina Faso where it would replace an ageing American school bus to transport children to school from outlying villages. We had hoped to feature the bus after its arrival in the African country at the time, but delays meant that it only recently took up its intended role.
