ACs Taxis, one of Scotland’s premier private hire and coach operators, has adopted AssetGo’s fully digital fleet management system to improve compliance oversight and streamline day-to-day operations.
Operating from its depot in Musselburgh, ACs Taxis runs an extensive fleet of more than 100 taxis and 30 coaches, serving a wide range of private and corporate clients throughout Scotland.
In a major upgrade to its operational systems, the company has transitioned to AssetGo’s digital fleet management platform, bringing multiple legacy systems under one roof, providing a real-time view of its fleet and streamlining day-to-day operations, in turn leading to improved compliance with DVSA standards, better communication across teams, and more efficient management. Previously reliant on separate tools for maintenance, compliance, and reporting, ACs Taxis now uses AssetGo to centralise key functions ranging from maintenance scheduling and PMI tracking to fuel monitoring and accident logging to a single platform.
“AssetGo stood out from the start,” said Robert Campbell, business partner and Transport Manager at the company. “We trialled several platforms but none offered the same level of integration and usability. It became the workshop favourite almost immediately.
“We now have a complete overview of our entire fleet on one platform. Compliance has improved significantly, and communication between drivers, management, and our workshop has never been better. The system was also relatively quick and straightforward to integrate, from the beginning, the AssetGo team provided close support with setup, advice, and product training, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free.”
“We’re proud to support ACs Taxis in raising the bar for fleet compliance and operational transparency,” said a spokesperson for AssetGo. “Our mission is to help transport operators simplify complex processes while staying ahead of regulatory requirements.”
