Jamie Ndlovu, Managing Director of TJ’s Travel, never expected to be running a transport operation. But now, 10 years and 15 vehicles later, the West Yorkshire-based firm is going from strength to strength – as Peter Jackson found out

“Ididn’t ever desire to own coaches or minibuses – I never thought I’d be in the transport industry at all,” explained Jamie Ndlovu, Managing Director of TJ’s Travel. Despite not ever expecting to find himself involved in the coach and bus industry – let alone running a business in the sector – Jamie has achieved an impressive amount with TJ’s Travel in a less than ideal economic climate. Starting out in 2008, in the midst of the global financial crisis, TJ’s Travel has grown into a 15-vehicle operator with an ever-expanding number of happy customers and – crucially – the firm has found a place in what is an increasingly competitive market.
