Alexander Dennis has confirmed that its stock build programme now includes the electric Enviro100EV as well as the Enviro200 and Enviro400 models that have long been available in this way. Retail Sales Director for Alexander Dennis Charlie Miller explained:
“In the fast-paced world of the bus industry, operators need to be able to react quickly to contract wins or growing customer demand alongside ongoing investment in fleets that they can be sure will stand the test of time and deliver for their companies’ bottom line.
“That’s why we’re offering an even wider range of stock in 2025 that ranges from compact midibuses to high-capacity double-deckers, and making sure they are available quickly when our customers need them.”

The Enviro200 will be available in lengths of 8.9m, 9.7m and 10.8m as well as an 11.8m option with six-cylinder engine that has been reintroduced to the stock programme, offering between 30 and 43 seats with a wheelchair bay and an additional buggy
bay. Seatbelts can be installed at all fixed seats when new or later in the life of the bus, and seats are trimmed in a modern moquette designed by Camira, with the option to adjust trim to match customers’ fleet style. Altro wood-effect flooring is fitted, and the buses are either pre-wired for hearing loops and audio-visual next stop announcements or will have these systems factory fitted, and now have the latest style of Alexander Dennis steering wheel and electronic dashboard, as well as being pre-wired for tachographs.

Enviro400 double-deckers for stock are built to a length of 11.5m to seat 85 passengers, with a wheelchair bay. All fixed seats have three-point seatbelts and are trimmed in a combination of Camira moquette with vinyl headrests, complemented by Altro wood-effect flooring. USB charging ports are provided at all seats. In addition to the latest dashboard and steering wheel, the buses have digital tachographs as well as radio/public address systems fitted and are pre-wired for hearing loops and audio-visual next stop announcements.

Alexander Dennis will also offer zero-emission stock for the first time with a number of Enviro100EV buses available in 2025, offering 25 seats and space for up to 20 standees. Provision is made for accessible information provision, and the buses are fitted with 354kWh batteries and the Voith Electrical Drive System.

Charlie added: “Our fantastic sales team is looking forward to discussing bus operators’ requirements, identifying the best vehicles to enhance our valued customers’ fleets and preparing their new buses for them.”
