Arriva’s new and improved m-ticket app, launching in February, will give passengers the option to pay by PayPal, Apple Pay and Android Pay.
There will also be upgrades to the operator’s journey planning and real-time apps, which will be given a new home screen with a customised live departure board and live map enhancements – allowing users to filter by route. New functionality means that passengers can compare the cost-per-day on their tickets and have access to a map showing exactly where they can travel. In addition, the ability to ‘gift’ tickets to friends and family is an attractive feature.
