A website has been launched by a company called Ascendal Group, which names current Tower Transit Group CEO Adam Leishman as its Executive Chairman and Founder. 
Adam Leishman delivered a keynote speech at the Latam Mobility Summit 2018, where he said he was ‘about to break away with a new business called Ascendal, which would be focusing on the Americas.’
Whippet Coaches is named on www.ascendalgroup.com as ‘one of Ascendal’s current businesses,’ alongside autonomous vehicles.
CBW had not received a comment from either Ascendal or Whippet by the time this magazine went to press.
