BBPG says goodbye

Among the most significant vehicles saved by the BBPG was this 1939 former Chatham and District Bristol K, now nearing the end of a major restoration at South East Coachworks to become the Medway Heritage Bus. An organisation which has offered support to operators and private owners of preserved coaches and buses for almost 30 years has folded. The British Bus Preservation Group (BBPG) saved hundreds of vehicles from the scrapheap by publicising their plight and helping to provide storage for them, as well as locating spares.
