The new company, Beverley Bell Training will launch this May, with the first courses running in June 2021, and will offer a range of professional training courses as well as bespoke training for individual companies, and other professional development services. Courses will include Transport Manager CPC courses, Transport Manager CPC refresher training, Operator Licence Awareness Training and Driver CPC courses. Beverley Bell Training courses are CILT or JAUPT accredited, and will be run nationwide, but will start in the North West while Covid-19 restrictions remain in place.

Beverley will oversee the creative delivery of ‘professional and stimulating’ courses, which she believes will provide delegates with ‘unrivalled industry knowledge that is easily and practically transferred to the workplace.’ Beverley said: “I am confident that through the training company, we will deliver the highest standards of training that will support companies and their staff to promote and deliver best practice and safe operation throughout the commercial vehicle industry.” Beverley read Law at the University of Liverpool and was admitted as a solicitor in 1985, before establishing her own practice in 1994, specialising in criminal and transport law. She was appointed Traffic Commissioner for the North West of England in 2000, becoming the first female commissioner, and in 2012 was appointed as Senior Traffic Commissioner for Great Britain. In 2017 Beverley received the CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to road safety and the freight industry. The same year, she also started Beverley Bell Consulting which offers bespoke strategic, compliance, governance and corporate reviews within the commercial vehicle industry, alongside Public Inquiry and Preliminary Hearing representation.
