Sightseeing operator Big Bus Vienna says it is proud and happy to announce that it has started to operate with zero-emission electric double-decker sightseeing buses, which entered service in mid-November. “We take immense pride in leading the charge towards electric vehicles in the sightseeing industry,” said Chairman Pat Waterman. “Our commitment to sustainability is not just words, we are taking concrete actions to ensure a cleaner and greener future for our customers, future generations and our planet.”
The operator is also working to decarbonise its operations in other cities, including London where it expects to have its first 10 Equipmake-repowered electric buses in service during 2024.
