A sunny April day in Wiltshire certainly seems to get the enthusiasts out. Here, caught in the act, is a 1967 Bristol RELL owned by the Stroud RE Group. A glance at the destination panel reveals why KHW309E had pulled up within a short stagger of the famous Red Lion Inn (with its on-site microbrewery) just by the River Thames bridge in Cricklade. Mike Ede, a founding member of the group which was formed in 1990, acquired the bus from the Cheltenham and District Bus Preservation Group. Sarah Day took the picture.
