The annual well dressing festival with roots believed to date back as far as the 14th Century takes place in the Derbyshire village of Tissington. One theory says that the custom began just after the Black Death of 1348-9. Calum MacLennan photographed a Littles of Ilkeston Scania Touring at this year’s event, the vehicle having been delivered to the operator in late 2018.
