Old and new. As you will see from our Industry Heritage pages, CBW’s editor has been driving some classic buses recently. As a keen photographer too, he intended to stop off for a few scenic pics whilst on the road with Grampian 74, a 1976 Leyland National, but ended up being the subject of many photos instead! Expecting Aberdeen’s Kings College to be quiet on a Sunday morning, the coach loads of foreign tourists were as surprised to see him as he was to see them, and many rushed over to take a pic, whilst the driver of Dewar’s VDL Futura SF18 MYO (pictured in the driving seat of the National) was keen to have a chat and reminisce too.
