Following last year’s highly successful event hosted by Lothian Buses in Edinburgh, booking has opened for the ALBUM Conference 2024, which is themed ‘Moving On Up.’ It will be held at Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire from 22 to 24 April, hosted by Warrington’s Own Buses in association with ALBUM. The event aims to be an engaging gathering in the bus industry and promises notable speakers, diverse exhibitors, and entertaining evenings.
Warrington’s Own Buses, which this this year is opening its new all-electric depot in the North-West town, says it is proud to host this year’s conference.
The event is sponsored by Volvo Buses as headline sponsor, supported by local Volvo dealer Thomas Hardie Commercials, along with Alexander Dennis, Asset Alliance Group, EO, Pelican and more, with over 40 exhibitors expected to be present at the venue.
Managing Director at Warrington’s Own Buses Ben Wakerley said: “Having Volvo Buses and Thomas Hardie Commercials as the headline sponsors for the ALBUM 2024 Conference is great news. Their reputation for delivering cutting-edge products and outstanding services is known across the industry. This collaboration reinforces our shared dedication to advancing the future of buses in our communities.”
The conference will bring together industry leaders to discuss trends, innovations, and challenges faced across the industry, and attendees are promised insightful sessions on topics including funding, electric vehicles, safety, recruitment challenges, and motivation.
Chair of ALBUM Bill Hiron said: “It doesn’t seem like a year since we were talking about the 2023 Conference – without a doubt one of the highlights of the bus industry calendar. But here we are with details for Warrington 2024 now available, and bookings open. Thanks are due once again to all our sponsors and for the hard work of Ben Wakerley and the supporting teams from ALBUM and Warrington’s Own Buses. Once again, we expect this to be a great event, with opportunities to meet suppliers, hear interesting and thought-provoking speakers, and learn about ALBUM’s policy asks from an incoming government. And of course, there’ll be plenty of time for relaxation and networking with friends and colleagues old and new.”
