Bouden Coach Travel added a 63-seater Scania coach to its fleet recently – but it was far from a planned purchase.
One of the operator’s customers had booked a coach for a ski tour back in June 2018.

However, two days before the passengers were due to be transported to Folgardia, Italy for their holiday, Bouden’s operations team realised that the customer had mistakenly booked a 62-seat coach and hadn’t accounted for the driver.
The Birmingham-based operator acted quickly to resolve the situation by purchasing – specifically for the tour – a 63-seater OmniExpress coach from Scania of Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
Director Adel Bouden commented: “The clients are at the heart of everything at Bouden Travel.
“We were quick to act, coming to the rescue by purchasing this new 63-seater and ultimately saving the day. I can’t wait to have a go in it myself, our first Scania addition to the fleet.”
