Heritage marques are to be remembered this year as a reminder of Britain’s motor industry history, reports Nick Larkin
Leylands are needed for a major event celebrating 125 years of the marque. The show is set for the Leyland Trucks assembly plant at Leyland, Lancashire, on 28 August. All Leyland buses and lorries are welcome to attend, as are vehicles from all Leyland Group manufacturers including AEC, Albion, BMC, Bristol, Daimler, Guy, Thornycroft and Scammell, although organisers said that preference will be given to Leyland manufactured or designed models if there are space limitations.
