Nick Larkin reports from the London Transport Museum’s TransportFest event at Brooklands

Almost 100 vehicles, many from local operators turned London Bus Museum’s recent TransportFest into a success.

As well as being on display, the vehicles, ranging from classic AECs to a Brighton & Hove Mercedes Benz Citaro ‘bendy bus’ operated on a service connecting the Brooklands-based museum with Weybridge town centre and the local railway station. Other operators sending vehicles to the event included Arriva, RATP London/London United, Ensign, Metroline, the London Bus Company and Reading Buses.
