Bus Services Bill stakeholders confirmed

Andrew Jones, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, has revealed the key stakeholders with whom the Government has met so far to regarding the Bus Services Bill.

Daniel Zeichner, Shadow Minister for Transport, asked which key stakeholders the DfT has met to discuss the potential contents of the secondary legislation and guidance needed to complement the Bill.

Andrew Jones listed the following stakeholders in a parliamentary written answer given on July 12: Transport Focus; Bus Users UK; Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC); Traveline; Office of the Traffic Commissioner; Urban Transport Group members (UTG); Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning and Transport (ADEPT); Campaign for Better Transport (CBT); Local Government Association (LGA); Confederation of Passenger Transport structural committee members (CPT); Association of Local Bus Company Managers (ALBUM); Association of Transport Coordinating Officers (ATCO); Local Government Association (LGA) consortium and Real-time information group (RTIG).
