A unique gathering of heritage vehicles commemorated the closure of Dudley bus station, reports Nick Larkin

Hours after Dudley bus station closed for redevelopment, heritage vehicles were allowed a final visit for a special event. “People wanted to mark the closure, and all the buses present had been at Dudley at some time during their service career,” said organiser of a photo session and the line-up, Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) bus station supervisor Phil Tonks. “We are very grateful to everyone who made this possible.”
