Teaming up with Transport for London (TfL), St George’s Hospital in Tooting set up the mock-up stop in the Dalby Ward, on the fifth floor of the hospital’s Lanesborough Wing, which instructs potentially confused dementia patients to wait at the stop for help. The sign was developed with the help of clinicians, and intended to help dementia patients trigger memories to keep them calm when they feel stressed out.
