Stagecoach East has announced the return of the popular City Sightseeing tour to Cambridge, after over a year’s absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Running at weekends from Saturday 29 May, the 80-minute tour visits 19 stops around the city including key destinations the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge Botanical Gardens, American Cemetery and Kings College with a commentary in nine different languages.

The popular service will operate every 40 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, allowing passengers the chance to hop on and off at will throughout the day. Darren Roe, Managing Director of Stagecoach East, said: “We are delighted to be relaunching the City Sightseeing service in Cambridge. The tour is a fantastic way for visitors and locals alike to explore some of the most famous destinations in the city, as well as discover some of its hidden gems. The cultural history of Cambridge is famous around the world, and we are pleased to help people learn more about the city in an accessible, comfortable and Covid-secure way.”
