CityFox Group subsidiary Snowdonia Travel Limited has registered a new bus service to be operated in Newport, South Wales.
Using the fleet name FoxStar, ‘theone’ service will operate between Monnow Way/Clist Road in Bettws and Newport Friars Walk up to every 12 minutes Monday to Saturday.
The service was registered with the DVSA on 24 September and will commence operation on 3 December.
Rhys Hand, CityFox Group Managing Director, said: “We have been looking for a suitable opportunity to begin registered bus operations for a while.
Feedback from Newport residents told us that they would appreciate a regular, reliable service operated by a company and driving team that thrive on giving great service.
“If the formula works in Bettws, we will look to add more routes across Newport and further afield in due course.”
