Last week’s issue featured the modern vehicles in attendance at this year’s Showbus. Heritage operators and preservationists also played a major part in making it a successful event. Held for the first time at the Hertfordshire Showground, the 47th Showbus also included a special display of vehicles marking 50 years since the National Bus Company was formed. Bob Pain’s 1977 Bristol VR/ECW XNV882S was voted best former NBC bus.
