Transport and accommodation solutions specialist CMAC Group says it expects record growth in 2024, with significant increases already seen in bookings, fleet size and the company’s international customer base since its acquisition by ComfortDelGro in January 2024. The Group reports 325,436 UK bookings in the first quarter of 2024, up 8% compared to the same period in 2023. Internationally, across its portfolio, the Group says that taxi bookings have seen a 150% increase, hotel reservations an 81% rise and coach trips are up 35%.
Notably, the company says, more than 80% of all bookings were made via its digital platform, equating to an increase of 15% on bookings made in the same period in 2023. CEO Peter Slater said: “2024 marks a significant year for CMAC as we embrace the opportunities within our extended global family.
