If you have been following us at CBW, you will know that last week we had a stand at Euro Bus Expo 2024. This provided the fantastic opportunity to meet operators and suppliers alike to launch our brand new Coach & Bus Guide. We call it ‘CBG.’
CBG is a direct response to extensive conversations we have had with operators who liked the original Coach & Bus Guide handbook. If you remember it from a decade ago, you will definitely remember the vast amount of operator and supplier information it contained. Unfortunately, as with any printed directory, we knew that the information would be out of date the day after publication, so we decided to modernise.
The new iteration of our handbook, CBG is now the definitive digital database for the coach, bus and minibus industry in the UK and Ireland. It’s a cutting-edge platform designed to revolutionise how operators connect with one another and with the rest of the industry. It is a knowledge base to save operators’ time.
In website form, coachandbusguide.com is a streamlined, accessible and searchable directory tailored to the unique needs of the industry. At its core, CBG is a one-stop-shop that connects the whole industry under one roof – or, in this case a screen, on your mobile, tablet or computer.

All subscribers joining CBG are checked and approved before being granted access to the site. This is to ensure that operator-only information remains securely for operators only. Information such as the personal contact details for the operator and 24-hour help lines will all be protected so only other operator-level subscribers can access it. Similarly, our Operator Forum is a hub of information that’s only accessible to operators. It’s a place where you can chat privately with other operators across the industry about topics that are important to you and your business.
As an operator, you will get our lowest subscription price of £69 (+VAT) per annum, but by joining right away, you can still get our introductory rate of £49. Plus, when you subscribe as an operator, you’ll get a special gift for you and your staff.
CBG for Suppliers
As with our original handbook, we also list trusted suppliers on CBG. There are two different supplier packages that will give suppliers the opportunity to stand out when operators are searching for their specific product or service. With an Enhanced Listing, suppliers can take advantage of additional features and also have direct access to the database of operators (excluding operator-only information).
What’s to come in 2025?
We’re excited to announce new access levels will be available in 2025. Whether you’re a driver, depot manager or are in the office, you can join CBG. More information will be provided in the new year.
We are already getting requests from operators who have subscribed for some new features. Where they can be added we will upgrade CBG and will continue to encourage operator requests for improvements. This will ensure that CBG is and remains the ultimate tool for the industry.
