Back in 2010 when Gareth and Phil Blair started Xelabus, the decision on the colour scheme was easy, say the pair, and the adoption of the colours of the former Hants & Dorset bus company was an obvious choice. Showing the continuation of the livery to the modern fleet is a 1961 Bristol Lodekka, recently acquired by well known preservationist Phil Blair; the opportunity was taken to pose it alongside one of the company’s current fleet, a recently delivered Enviro400.

Phil said: “The Hants & Dorset livery was so well known in the area that it was an obvious choice to continue, without fussy swirls and stripes, but just a familiar livery. It has been well received and we are pleased to continue the colour scheme.”
