The Confederation of Passenger Transport has announced that the second annual UK Bus & Coach Conference will take place virtually on 25 and 26 January 2022, with speakers including Transport Minister Baroness Vere and Shadow Transport Secretary Jim McMahon.

The conference is free to CPT members and is sponsored by Backhouse Jones. Over the two days, sessions will address key issues impacting the coach and bus industry and how these can be tackled, including recruitment and retention of staff, growing domestic tourism, and delivering bus services for left-behind communities.

Delegates will hear first-hand the Government’s vision for buses and coaches from Transport Minister Baroness Vere, followed on day two with a conversation with Shadow Transport Secretary Jim McMahon on what the industry could expect from a Labour Government.
