The CPT has renewed the accreditation of two destinations and added three more to its list of those which welcome coaches and their passengers

Three new destinations have been awarded CPT’s ‘Coach Friendly’ accreditation, recognising their commitment to welcoming not just coaches but their passengers and drivers, whilst two others have seen their accreditation renewed.

The new destinations receiving accreditation during National Coach Week were Rochdale, Dunfermline, and the combined Sidmouth, Seaton and Honiton, whilst Alnwick and all Royal Horticultural Society gardens had their accreditations renewed, all serving to highlight the destinations’ efforts to provide excellent facilities for coach travel. Accreditations were awarded at a number of ceremonies at these destinations throughout the week.

UK Coach Manager at the Confederation of Passenger Transport Phil Smith said: “Our Coach Friendly accreditation recognises destinations that truly value the contribution of coaches to local economies and the environment. We look forward to seeing even more visitors discover all that our accredited locations have to offer.”
