Coach tourism industry members are invited to head to East Anglia, to Norwich on 17 to 19 May for a weekend of product development and new business opportunities during the Coach Tourism Association’s Spring Networking event. The three days will see the CTA host a series of local familiarisation trips and a ‘Supplier Showcase’ as well as discussions aimed at growing new business.

The event also includes the organisation’s Annual General Meeting; all CTA members are welcomed, and the organisation adds that coach tour operators, wholesalers, and suppliers who are not current members are encouraged to join and participate.

The CTA Spring Networking event will be hosted at Kew Green Hotels’ Holiday Inn Norwich North, and will start at 0900hrs on the morning of Sunday 18 May for a cruise of the Norfolk Broads, courtesy of Broads Tours. In the afternoon, delegates will head to Holkham for lunch and a guided tour of the home and grounds. With travel provided by Eastons Holidays, the familiarisation visits will give operators and wholesalers an in-person experience of new trip and tour options for customers in Norfolk.

The evening presents the opportunity for business discussion and networking, then on Monday 19 May, proceedings begin with the CTA’s AGM, followed by a presentation offering a guide to coach tourism and its opportunities in Norfolk. The Supplier Showcase concludes the event, with suppliers to the coach tourism sector ranging from hotels to attractions talking one-to-one with coach tour operators and wholesalers to plan new business. “The line up of Norfolk fam trips will give coach operators an excellent opportunity to discover new attractions for their portfolio, combined with the hotels, attractions, and service providers presenting at the Supplier Showcase,” said CTA Chair Robert Shaw.
