RATP Dev, the parent company of Bournemouth Transport Ltd (trading as Yellow Buses), has announced the appointment of David Squire as the operator’s new Managing Director, who took up the role with effect from Monday, October 9. The move follows the departure of Yellow Buses Managing Director, Andrew Smith, who left the company on October 6, 2017.
David has worked for RATP Dev UK for the last year as Commercial Director North West, working primarily with Selwyns Travel, another subsidiary of RATP Dev UK, as well as more generally positioning RATP Dev for bus franchising in the North West. Prior to joining RATP Dev, David was the Managing Director of two de-regulated bus companies in England, Network Warrington and First Eastern Counties, and worked for many years in operational delivery at Arriva North West.
