“Providing reliable vehicles backed by responsive, top-quality service is what we’re all about,” says Bolton-based Vision Bus, which recently completed a smooth handover of 10 new service buses for its fleet, supplied by Dawsongroup.
The company required additional vehicles following the securing of a new contract from Lancashire County Council, and Dawsongroup was entrusted with sourcing and preparing the 10 new buses which were needed for the additional work. The vehicles include seven new Alexander Dennis Enviro200s in 8.9 metre, 30-seat format and three new 10.8 metre Volvo MCV Evoras with 38 seats.
Vision Bus said that the team at Dawsongroup were extremely efficient in preparing the vehicles for its new contract, with work undertaken which included painting the vehicles in Vision Bus’s blue livery and equipping them with next stop displays, hearing induction loops, and CCTV systems provided by Journeo.
The company acknowledged the assistance of Dawsongroup’s bus and coach service delivery team, adding special thanks to Steve Bailey and Wendy Bingham for facilitating a swift turn-around and delivery.
Dawsongroup Regional Sales Manager Lee Salt said “It’s been fantastic to support our customer as they expand with this new contract. Supplying 10 new service buses on time and to spec was a real team effort, and we’re proud to have played a part in helping them grow. Providing reliable vehicles backed by responsive, top-quality service is what we’re all about, and it’s great to see that making a real difference for our customers.”
Following the positive experience, Vision Bus says it has already placed an order for four additional vehicles to be supplied in the coming months.
