Oxford Bus Company has extended its deadline for good causes to enter the Brand the Bus competition in the wake of the latest Government Covid-19 restrictions.
It has extended the time good causes have to enter by three weeks, taking the deadline to submit entries to 20 December at 2359hrs. The public vote will now close on 31 December.
The competition offers local good causes and charities the opportunity to have an Oxford Bus Company bus emblazoned with its branding. People can then vote for their favourite good cause to win the unique opportunity.
Phil Southall, Oxford Bus Company said: “We appreciate many good causes and charities are managing multiple challenges at this difficult time and we’re also aware some people may now find themselves furloughed throughout November. Following the recent Covid-19 restrictions, we decided to extend the deadline to enter, to help maximise the positive impact of the competition and give organisations a fair chance to win even if they have been forced to furlough staff at this difficult time.”
